PNU Myanmar Community Launches Windbreaker Fundraising Event

Busan, South Korea — April 2026

Spring has arrived in Korea, bringing cherry blossoms and a refreshing atmosphere to Pusan National University (PNU). As Myanmar students prepare for their midterm exams, the PNU Myanmar Community has announced a special fundraising initiative: the release of a custom-designed windbreaker.

A Symbol of Unity and Identity
The windbreaker is more than just stylish outerwear—it carries deep cultural meaning and represents solidarity among Myanmar students at PNU.

- Chest Logo: The letter “P” of PNU is creatively designed with the image of a traditional Myanmar pyit taing htaung doll, symbolizing the strong bond between PNU and Myanmar students.
- Back Design: A larger pyit taing htaung doll illustration is paired with the word “Myanmar,” shaped like a book to highlight education and heritage.
- Sleeves: The official PNU Myanmar Community logo, representing unity and collective spirit.

Purpose and Impact
This windbreaker project is part of the community’s fundraising efforts, aiming to support future activities and strengthen ties among Myanmar students and alumni. By purchasing and wearing the windbreaker, students can showcase their pride, stay fashionable, and contribute to meaningful initiatives.

The PNU Myanmar Community encourages all Myanmar students to take part in this campaign and wear the windbreaker as a symbol of identity, resilience, and togetherness.
