Busan will host the 19th World Citizens Day Commemorative 2026 International Competition on May 20, 2026, bringing together foreign residents through the global appeal of K-POP. The event will be held at the cultural hall of Shinsegae Centum City and is open to international students and foreign residents living in the region.  Participants may compete individually or in groups, performing K-POP dance, vocal, or mixed routines.   Applications will be accepted from March 30 to April 13, 2026. Interested participants are required to complete a Google Forms application accessed via QR code on the poster and submit a performance video of 3 to 5 minutes via email at office1170@naver.com.  All submissions will undergo a preliminary video screening on April 24, after which finalists will be announced on April 30. The final live competition will take place on May 20. Winners will be awarded certificates and prizes, with the Grand Prize valued at approximately 1.5 million KRW, followed by the Excellence Award, Merit Award, and Popularity Award. The Foreign Resident Connector Program, organized by the Busan Global City Foundation aims to strengthen communication between Busan and its foreign residents. The program allows participants to identify everyday challenges in Busan, contribute to solutions, and promote the city within the international community.   Participants will act as connectors between the city and foreign residents.
