We eagerly shouted, "A beautiful campus!", "Excellent professors!", "Outstanding curriculum!" But the professor’s answer was different. Smiling at us, he said, "The most valuable treasure of our university is… you."
At that moment, I felt as if I had been struck by lightning. A country that values not buildings or systems, but people—students—as its greatest asset. I decided then and there that I had to experience that country for myself, and now that I am in Korea, I feel every day that the professor’s words were sincere.
Not long ago, while playing basketball with my Korean friends, I made a mistake by throwing the ball poorly. I expected criticism like, "Why did you do that?" But instead, my friends patted me on the shoulder and said, "It’s okay, Batzaya! That was a good try!"
A culture that cares for people before blaming mistakes. A warmth that encourages you to rise again when you fall. This is the true strength of Korea that I longed to encounter.
Now, I am studying Artificial Intelligence at Pusan National University. AI may seem like a cold technology, but I want to become a developer who has learned the warmth of saying “It’s okay” even when mistakes are made. My dream is not only to connect Mongolia and Korea, but to create technology that connects hearts across the world—technology for people.
The greatest value I have learned here is humanity. Please support my dream that is directed toward people!
