Our first Knowledge Sharing event of 2026, the Career Talk Webinar, was successfully held on January 19 via Zoom. The session featured Moe Moe Than, a Research Engineer at Samsung Group and an alumna of West Yangon Technological University and Sungkyunkwan University through the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) program. She shared her journey of preparing for a global career, life in graduate school, and real experiences in the workplace. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a lucky draw, making it a meaningful and engaging seminar for all participants.  

Celebrating the 78th Myanmar Independence Day

  Back to Timeless Play  On the occasion of the 78th Myanmar Independence Day, which falls on January 4, the PNU Myanmar Community warmly celebrated this meaningful national day by organizing a special event titled “Back to Timeless Play” on January 8 in Busan. This event was prepared to honor Myanmar Independence Day while giving participants the opportunity to rewind time and reconnect with the joyful memories of childhood. Traditionally, Independence Day celebrations in Myanmar are closely associated with neighborhood and school-based games, which have long played an essential role in bringing communities together. In line with this tradition, the “Back to Timeless Play” event aimed to revive those timeless experiences through classic Myanmar games that never lose their charm. 2025 December Deokyusan One-Day Trip with PNU Myanmar Students

The Deokyusan one-day trip organized by the Event Organizing Team was successfully completed with a total of 41 participants. The trip was planned to give PNU Myanmar students the opportunity to experience snow, which is not easily seen in Busan. Participants traveled together, used the cable car to reach the mountain, and followed an easy walking course suitable for everyone. The weather was clear, and participants were able to enjoy the snowy scenery comfortably. Overall, the trip proceeded smoothly and provided a refreshing break for students at the end of the semester. It also offered a chance for Myanmar students to spend time together and strengthen their sense of community. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Wrap Up of the "Doumi Program" for the Fall Semester of 2025 Academic Year

The Doumi Program has successfully concluded! Throughout the program, mentors and mentees connected through learning, sharing, and meaningful conversation. Knowledge Sharing (Career Talk) Event Successfully Conducted Online (28.10.2025)

The PNU Myanmar Alumni Association successfully organized the Knowledge Sharing (Career Talk) event as an online session on October 28 at 9:00 PM via Zoom. The session was organized to provide students, particularly those majoring in Business Administration and other Humanities and Social Science fields  with practical insights into finding employment in Korea after graduation.The guest speaker, Ms. Khin Su Yee, a PNU alumna who holds an MBA in International Business is currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at JAB Holdings (IGlobal Marketing Team). During the talk, Ms. Khin shared her valuable experiences and knowledge on topics such as the job-hunting process, Korean work society, and corporate culture. PNU Myanmar's Very First Photo Contest Successfully Completed!

PNU Myanmar Students Showcase Traditional Dances at MAMF Festival

We are proud to announce that our Pusan National University Myanmar students participated in the recent MAMF, following a special invitation from the Gyeongnam Myanmar Community (GMC - 경남 미얀마교민회). Our students showcased Myanmar's rich culture by performing the traditional Thingyan festival dance and the captivating traditional elephant dance. They had the honor of parading and performing twice—once in front of distinguished VIPs and again on the main stage. In recognition of their wonderful contribution, the students were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Gyeongnam Myanmar Community. Hello everyone!   On the evening of September 11th, last month, we held the 개강 총회 (Semester opening party) of the PNU Myanmar Student Association. It was a great night where senior and junior students got to know each other better, made new friends, and had a lot of fun. From laughs to shared experiences, it truly felt like a wonderful start to something bigger.
