About Myanmar and the PNU Myanmar Community

Myanmar is a vibrant and diverse country in Southeast Asia, bordered by Thailand, Laos, China, India, and Bangladesh. Known for its rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and warm hospitality, Myanmar is home to more than 100 ethnic groups, each contributing to its unique traditions, languages, and festivals. Despite its challenges, the people of Myanmar are resilient, community-driven, and deeply rooted in the values of respect, kindness, and unity.

At Pusan National University, the PNU Myanmar Community proudly represents Myanmar students and shares this spirit on campus. Our association is committed to supporting fellow students, celebrating cultural identity, and strengthening the bond between Myanmar and the global community.

Led by a President and Vice President, our community operates through four active teams:

• Event Organizing Team– Hosts cultural and social activities to foster engagement and unity.

• Information & Communication Team– Connects members, shares important updates and maintain public relation with other organization

• Digital Media Team– Manages our online presence and creates engaging content.

• Finance Team– Oversees budgeting and financial coordination.

We are dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive, and meaningful experience for all Myanmar students at PNU.
